Inve for Claude: connector setup, tools and credits

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Inve’s connector lets Claude look up Indian and US companies, list their earnings calls, read Inve’s stored earnings-call analysis and management guidance, and check your monthly credits. It works in Claude on the web, in the desktop and mobile apps, and in Claude Code. Every answer comes from your own Inve account and its plan.

Claude is made by Anthropic. Inve is an independent service; Anthropic does not make or endorse this connector.

What you need

  • An Inve account. The approval page signs you in with your phone number.
  • Your account’s market. Each account belongs to India or the United States, and the connector reads companies in that market.
  • Claude on any plan, or Claude Code. On Claude’s Free plan you can add one custom connector.

The server address is https://api.inve.money/mcp. You never need a password, key or token from Inve.

Connect in Claude (web, desktop and mobile)

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner first adds Inve under Organization settings, then Connectors, and each member then connects from Customize, then Connectors.
  2. If Inve is listed in the Connectors Directory, choose it. If not, select Add custom connector and enter the name Inve and the address above.
  3. If the dialog asks how people sign in, choose Sign in now. If it asks for the OAuth client, choose Use Claude’s published identity. If it shows Advanced settings with an OAuth client ID and secret instead, leave both empty. Then select Add.
  4. Select Connect. An Inve page opens in your browser.
  5. Sign in with your phone number, read what Claude is asking for, and select Approve connection. The page shows that you will return to claude.ai.
  6. Claude now lists Inve as connected. A connector you add on the web is also available in the desktop and mobile apps.

Connect in Claude Code

Add the server from your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http inve https://api.inve.money/mcp

Then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose inve and select Authenticate. Your browser opens the Inve approval page. It warns you that the approval goes to an app on this computer (localhost or 127.0.0.1): that app is Claude Code. Approve only if you just started this from Claude Code, then return to the terminal.

What you approve

The approval page lists each permission before you decide:

  • Search companies and list their earnings calls. This uses none of your allowance.
  • Read call summaries. Every read uses one call credit.
  • Read company guidance from the Guidance Tracker. Every read uses one guidance credit.
  • See your monthly allowances and how much of them you have used.
  • Stay connected for up to 30 days without approving again.

Inve receives only the requests Claude makes to these tools, such as a company name or ticker, and not the rest of your conversation. Your phone number, name, email address, PAN and portfolio holdings are never part of the results. Details are in the privacy policy (section e, connected AI apps).

Tools

  • Search companiessearch_companies

Finds a company in your market by ticker or name.

    Free

  • List earnings callslist_calls

Lists a company’s earnings-call dates and periods, so Claude can pick the right one.

    Free

  • Read earnings call summaryget_call_summary

Reads Inve’s stored analysis of one earnings call. It is an analysis, not the transcript.

    One call credit

  • Read management guidanceget_guidance

Reads the company’s guidance ledger from the Guidance Tracker: what management said it would deliver.

    One guidance credit

  • Check usage and creditsget_usage

Shows your monthly allowances, what is left, when they reset, and how much went through connected apps.

    Free

The tools only read research stored in Inve. They never browse the web, trade, or change anything in your account apart from using credits. The two paid tools are marked so that Claude can ask your permission before it runs them.

Credits

  • Connecting is free, and so are searching companies, listing calls and checking usage.
  • Each accepted call-summary read uses one call credit, and each guidance read uses one guidance credit. A repeat of the same read, an empty result, or a read that fails after it was accepted still counts. A credit is never refunded.
  • Requests that are refused before they start are free: a wrong input, an unknown company, the other market, or no credits left.
  • Claude, the Inve website and the Android app share the same monthly allowances. A free account has 50 call reads and 5 guidance reads a month; Pro has 500 and 100. See US pricing or India pricing.
  • Ask Claude to check your Inve usage at any time: it shows what is left and when it resets, without using a credit.

Example prompts

  • “Using Inve, find Infosys in the India market and list its last four earnings calls.”

    Free tools only

  • “Read Inve’s summary of Apple’s latest earnings call and tell me what management said about margins.”

One call credit for each summary Claude reads

  • “Show Nvidia’s management guidance from Inve and compare the latest targets with what the company reported.”

One guidance credit for each guidance read

  • “How many Inve credits do I have left this month, and when do they reset?”

    Free tools only

Credits are charged per tool call, not per prompt. Claude may read several summaries or guidance ledgers to answer one prompt, and each read uses a credit. Use companies from your own account’s market: the India prompt needs an India account, and the Apple and Nvidia prompts need a US account.

Troubleshooting

“This sign-in request was not started in this browser.”
The approval page must open in the same browser that started the connection. Start again from Claude and finish in the browser it opens.
“This sign-in request has expired or was already answered.”
A request stays open for 10 minutes and can be answered once. Select Connect (or Authenticate in Claude Code) again.
Claude cannot connect, or says the client is not registered.
Check that the address is exactly https://api.inve.money/mcp with no slash at the end, and that the connector uses Use Claude’s published identity (or an empty OAuth client ID and secret). Claude does not let you change these settings later, so remove the connector and add it again. In Claude Code, update to the latest version. If it still fails, email support@inve.money with the time and the message you saw.
A company is not found, or access is refused.
Your account reads one market. Ask for a company in that market, and name the market (India or US) in your prompt.
You are out of credits.
Free tools still work. Ask Claude to check your Inve usage to see when your allowance resets, or compare plans on the pricing page.
A read timed out, or Claude is not sure it finished.
A read that Inve accepted uses its credit even if the answer never reached Claude or came back empty, and asking again uses another. Your Inve usage shows the credits charged, but it cannot prove that a particular read succeeded, because the website, the app and other connected apps draw on the same allowance. Ask Claude to repeat the read only if you are willing to spend another credit.
Claude asks you to approve again.
A connection lasts up to 30 days, and ends sooner if it is not used for 7 days. Approve it again on the Inve page.

Disconnect

Remove Inve under Customize, then Connectors in Claude (Team and Enterprise Owners: under Organization settings, then Connectors), or run claude mcp remove inve in Claude Code.

Removing the connector takes it out of Claude. It does not by itself end the approval you gave Inve: unless Claude revokes it, that approval stays valid until it expires, 7 days after Claude last renewed it and never more than 30 days after you approved it. To end every connection to your Inve account now, email info@inve.money. Once a connection has expired or been revoked, Inve refuses every further request made with it.
