What Alcokraft Distilleries Limited does
Operates a molasses-based, non-potable alcohol distillery that produces rectified spirit, neutral alcohol, ethanol and special denatured spirit (SDS) for pharmaceutical, industrial-solvent, cosmetics, fuel-blending and beverage-industry customers. The same plant recovers potash and bio-potash fertiliser and de-potash vinasse (DPV, used as an animal-feed additive and soil enricher) from its distillation waste streams. Production runs on multi-pressure, vacuum-based distillation equipment and is supplemented by an on-site 1 MW solar power plant for captive renewable energy.
