Bajaj Healthcare Limited manufactures Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical intermediates, Finished Dosage Forms (tablets, capsules, powders) and nutraceuticals across facilities in Maharashtra and Gujarat. It is one of the world's major manufacturers of Chlorhexidine base and India's major manufacturer of Ascorbic Acid, and is the only private player undertaking Alkaloid (Opium Gum and Poppy Straw) extraction work for the Government of India. The company also runs a CDMO business making APIs under contract for overseas customers, a dedicated oncology division (Bajaj Oncocare), and is building out peptide synthesis (including GLP-1/Semaglutide) capability.
