What Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Limited does

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances manufactures and markets domestic kitchen and electrical appliances under the 'Butterfly' brand, with its strongest foothold in South India across LPG gas stoves, mixer grinders, table-top wet grinders, pressure cookers and stainless-steel/non-stick cookware. It has since expanded into adjacent categories such as air fryers, chimneys, irons, fans, kettles and food processors, and is extending distribution beyond South India. It earns by selling through a distributor-and-retail network plus e-commerce, manufacturing in-house at its own plant. Following a 2023 merger scheme, it became a subsidiary of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, which now integrates its go-to-market and manufacturing infrastructure with Butterfly's.
