FDC Limited is an India-based pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets branded generic formulations, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and nutraceuticals. Its domestic portfolio spans anti-infectives, gastrointestinal, ophthalmic, cardiovascular, anti-diabetic, dermatology, paediatric and vitamin/mineral/nutraceutical therapy areas, sold through its own field force to doctors and pharmacies. It also manufactures APIs in-house to backward-integrate its formulation business, and exports formulations and APIs to markets across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, with a separate US-focused generics filing pipeline.
