What IVP Limited does
IVP Limited, part of the Allana Group, manufactures foundry-application resins, binders and coatings used to make moulds and cores for metal casting, polyurethane (PU) foam materials for footwear manufacturing, and PU laminating adhesives (solvent-based and solvent-less) for flexible film, foil and paper packaging, alongside composites, insulation and refractory/powder-resin products. It began in 1929 as a vegetable-oil manufacturer before diversifying, becoming the first Indian company to produce foundry chemicals and later entering the polyurethane business in 2018. Production runs out of a 12-acre facility in Tarapur and a facility in Bengaluru, serving over 500 clients across foundry, footwear, flexible-packaging and composites industries in India and international markets.
