What Kavveri Defence & Wireless Technologies Limited does

Kavveri Defence & Wireless Technologies designs, develops and manufactures high-performance RF and microwave components — external antennas, RF filters, duplexers and multiplexers, and wireless subsystems — for defence, aerospace, railroad transport, airports, industrial automation, SCADA/AMI networks, fixed wireless access and counter-drone applications. The company traces its origins to Kaveri Microwave Components, a proprietary duplex-filter-making concern started in October 1991, and was incorporated as a public limited company (as Kavveri Telecom Products Limited) on January 19, 1996; it made its first exports in 1993–94. Manufacturing is carried out at its Bangalore facilities (registered office/plant on Bannerghatta Road and a unit at Suragajakkanahalli village, Anekal Taluk) and at an overseas facility in Kemptville, Ontario, Canada. An in-house R&D Centre in Bangalore, recognised by India's Ministry of Science and Technology since 1996, develops the antenna, filter and RF-subsystem product portfolio.
