What Kesoram Industries Limited does

Kesoram Industries Limited demerged its cement division into UltraTech Cement Limited under a Composite Scheme of Arrangement (appointed date 1 April 2024, effective 1 March 2025), after which the parent ceased to have any standalone manufacturing operations. Its continuing business — viscose rayon, cellulose transparent film and chemicals — is carried on through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cygnet Industries Limited. Rayon is produced from a researched blend of soft and hardwood pulp regenerated into cellulose and sold under the "Kesoram Rayon" brand, while the biodegradable cellulose transparent film used for packaging farm produce and firecrackers is sold under the "Kesophane" brand.
