What Powerica Limited does
Powerica manufactures diesel generator (DG) sets powered by Cummins engines and, through a non-exclusive association with Hyundai since 2014, medium-speed large generators (MSLG) used for base-load and emergency power across sectors like data centres, EV, defense, oil refineries, fertilizer plants and nuclear power stations. Its allied businesses include design and manufacture of EMI-EMC shelters and MIL-grade DG sets for defense applications, and manufacture/service of Schneider Electric PRISMA control panels and switchboards. Separately, its Wind Power Business Division operates as an independent power producer (IPP) selling electricity to distribution utilities under long-term power purchase agreements, and also provides EPC and O&M services for the Balance of Plant of wind projects developed by other IPPs. Through its 50%-owned associate, Platino Automotive, the company also retrofits emission-control devices onto existing diesel generator sets.
