What Sun TV Network Limited does
Sun TV Network is one of India's largest television broadcasters, operating satellite television channels across seven languages — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, Marathi and Hindi — with flagship channel Sun TV ranked the most-watched in the country. The company produces and acquires its own television and film content, airs FM radio stations across India through subsidiaries Kal Radio Limited and South Asia FM Limited, and operates the Sun NXT digital OTT platform. It also owns the IPL cricket franchise SunRisers Hyderabad and the SunRisers Eastern Cape franchise in Cricket South Africa's T20 league, run out of a branch office in South Africa, and has board approval to acquire Northern Superchargers, a franchise in England's "The Hundred" cricket league.
