Detailed Narrative
Strong Q3 FY26 Performance Driven by Growth and Margin Expansion
LTIMindtree reported a robust Q3 FY26, with revenues reaching USD 1.21 billion, marking a sequential growth of 2.4% in both USD and constant currency terms. Operational EBIT margins expanded by 20 basis points quarter-on-quarter to 16.1%, reflecting effective cost management. Profit After Tax (PAT) saw a significant 29% year-on-year increase before accounting for a one-time📎 labor code impact, demonstrating underlying profitability.
Robust Order Inflow and Strategic Deal Wins
The company secured strong order inflows totaling USD 1.7 billion, an increase of 6.4% quarter-on-quarter. Key wins included a USD 155 million, five-year engagement with a leading US insurance and financial services company for AI-led delivery. LTIMindtree also expanded its partnerships, being selected as one of five major service partners by a global financial institution and deploying its BlueVerse™ platform for AI agents with two manufacturing clients.
Vertical and Geographical Performance Mixed, with Strong Growth in Specific Segments
From a vertical perspective, Manufacturing and Resources grew strongly by 9.4% sequentially, and Healthcare, License, and Public Services by 9.9%. However, BFSI experienced a slight decline of 0.7%, while Tech, Media, and Communication remained flat. Geographically, Europe grew by 3.4% and the Rest of the World by 14.1%, while the Americas saw a modest 0.4% growth.
Labor Code Impact and Margin Management Initiatives
Q3 FY26 results included a one-time📎 impact of Rs. 590 crores (USD 66 million) due to changes in the labor code, affecting reported PAT. Despite this, the company's operational EBIT margins improved. Management indicated that wage hikes for approximately 50% of its workforce would be spread across Q4 and Q1, with an estimated impact of up to 1% per quarter, which they aim to offset through operational efficiencies and the new 'New Horizons' program.
Addressing Client Concentration and Productivity Journeys
The decline in the top five client bucket was attributed to clients undergoing productivity journeys, with one remaining client expected to bottom out in Q4. Management noted that client concentration risk is organically decreasing, with the share of top two accounts falling from 20-23% last year to 18-19% currently. New deal wins are primarily outside these top accounts, and the company aims to grow all client accounts.
Focus on AI-Readiness and Talent Development
LTIMindtree is accelerating its journey to become an AI-ready organization, leveraging its BlueVerse™ ecosystem and launching various AI-driven solutions. Over 50% of employees have achieved intermediate or advanced AI skills, and more than 70% of the workforce is covered under Tech + Domain skilling, reinforcing the commitment to future-ready talent.
Outlook for Q4 FY26 and Beyond
The company expects the growth momentum to continue, aiming for near double-digit year-on-year growth in Q4. While specific FY27 guidance will be provided later, management expressed strong aspirations for future growth. SG&A as a percentage of revenue is targeted to remain in the 11-11.6% range long-term, supported by ongoing efficiency programs.
