What 3M India does
3M India Limited, incorporated in 1987 and publicly listed since 1991, is the Indian subsidiary of 3M Company (USA) that manufactures and markets science-based products across four business groups — Transportation & Electronics, Safety & Industrial, Healthcare and Consumer. It operates three manufacturing facilities (Electronic City Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Ranjangaon), an R&D centre and two Customer Technical Centers in Bangalore and Delhi that adapt 3M's global technology platforms into India-specific products. The company reaches customers through direct sales, distribution, e-commerce and specialised channel partnerships, selling well-known consumer brands such as Scotch, Post-it, Command, Scotch-Brite, Filtrete and Meguiar's alongside industrial, safety, transportation/electronics and healthcare products supplied to institutional and retail customers.
