Godrej Industries Limited is the flagship holding company of the Godrej Group, directly operating an oleochemicals, surfactants and specialty-chemicals manufacturing business and a non-banking financial services (NBFC) lending business run through wholly-owned subsidiary Godrej Capital. It also holds significant equity stakes in three separately listed group companies — Godrej Consumer Products (FMCG, equity-accounted associate), Godrej Properties (real estate) and Godrej Agrovet (animal feed, vegetable oils, dairy and crop protection) — whose results are consolidated or equity-accounted into GODREJIND's financial statements. The Chemicals business manufactures oleochemicals, surfactants, specialty chemicals and food additives for cosmetics, home & personal care, food and other industrial end-uses from plants in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.
