Jyoti Limited is an engineering manufacturer that has been in commercial production since 1943, organised around two principal product lines: Motors & Pumps, and Generators, Turbines & Relay. Beyond rotating machines, it also makes vacuum switchgear equipment such as indoor vacuum circuit breaker panels, SF6 ring main units and vacuum contactors, and has supplied hydro turbine-generator sets for small-hydro power projects. It also holds a 49% stake in Jyoti Sohar Switchgear LLC, a switchgear joint venture in the Sultanate of Oman.
