What Indokem does
Indokem manufactures textile sizing chemicals and other specialty/dyes chemicals used by textile and downstream industries, produced at its Chikhloli MIDC unit in Ambernath, Maharashtra, with a separate warehouse at Village Dahisar Mori that is being folded into the main unit. It earns from both domestic sales and exports, supported by a manufacturing-and-trading subsidiary in Bangladesh (Indokem Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd) and a UAE-based trading step-down subsidiary (Texcare Middle East LLC). A past amalgamation with Refnol Resins and Chemicals Limited broadened its product range, and a number of its products are GOTS-certified and registered under the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) programme.
