What Uni Abex Alloy does
Uni Abex Alloy Products, established in 1972 and part of the Neterwala Group, designs and manufactures centrifugal and static castings from heat-, wear- and corrosion-resistant alloys at its foundry in Dharwad, Karnataka. Its castings and machined components — reformer/catalyst tubes, radiant tubes and coils, furnace rollers, hearth rolls, decanter bowls and cones, and similar parts — are supplied to steel plants, petroleum refineries, fertiliser plants, decanter manufacturers and furnace manufacturers in India and abroad. The company also runs an in-house Engineering Research & Development function that develops new alloy grades (e.g., Thermalloy 64 MR for steam methane reforming applications) and is building a new, Industry 4.0-compliant centrifugal-casting facility for the separation industry and SMR applications.
