What Josts Engg. Co. does

Josts Engineering Company (JECL), incorporated in 1907 and headquartered in Mumbai with a pan-India presence, runs two core businesses: an Engineered Products Division (EPD) that represents over 40 international technology principals across sound & vibration, environmental simulation, components, electrical test & measuring instruments, nano-technology, analytical and heat & combustion equipment, and also takes up EPC/O&M work in the power sector; and a Material Handling (MHD) business selling, servicing and renting material handling equipment through a 38-dealer, 9-service-centre pan-India network. The company shut its own Thane manufacturing plant in January 2025 and now channels material handling equipment through its wholly owned subsidiary JECL Engineering Limited, which manufactures at a new Murbad plant, and through an exclusive India distribution agreement with Zowell for reach trucks and articulated forklifts.
