What Veritas (India) does

Veritas (India) Limited is engaged in the trading and distribution of petroleum and petroleum products, sourcing and supplying fuels, lubricants and related products both domestically and for export. It is a subsidiary of Swan Corp Limited (formerly Swan Energy Limited) and conducts business through seven subsidiaries — three domestic and four overseas in the UAE (Dubai, Sharjah) and Singapore. Its overseas facility in the Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, includes storage tanks and refinery units used for international trading operations. Following a change in management control in November 2024 and a fire-related disruption at the Sharjah facility in May 2025, the company has curtailed parts of its product portfolio and is restructuring/right-sizing its organisation.
