What Simplex Castings does

Simplex Castings Limited is a precision-metallurgy heavy engineering company that manufactures large industrial castings, fabrications and machined components, and also executes turnkey EPC projects, from two plants in Chhattisgarh (Bhilai and Rajnandgaon/Tedesara). It supplies steel-plant equipment (coke oven doors, sinter cars, ingot moulds, slag pots, torpedo ladle cars), railway wagon bogies and cast steel components, and products for power, pumps & valves, mining and defence customers, both in India and export markets. The Heavy Engineering & Fabrication division and the Ferrous Foundry division cover casting, machining and fabrication under one roof, and the company has recently received RDSO approval to re-enter the railway wagon-bogie segment.
