What Birla Precision does
Birla Precision Technologies (BPTL), established in 1937 and part of the Birla Group, manufactures High-Speed Steel and carbide cutting tools (drills, taps, milling cutters, reamers, tool bits, files) through its ITM division, tool holders (collet chucks, work holdings, production boosters) for CNC/ATC machines through its Tool Holder division, and precision machined components (spools, shafts, casings, sub-assemblies) for automotive, hydraulics and industrial customers. Products are sold domestically through a dealer/distributor network and branch offices, and exported to overseas markets including China, Germany, the Czech Republic and the USA.
