What Morganite Crucib does
Morganite Crucible (India) Limited manufactures silicon carbide and clay graphite crucibles, foundry consumables and refractory products used to melt, hold, treat and cast non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper, zinc, brass, bronze and precious metals. It sells to foundries, die-casters and metal-melting facilities serving the automotive, aerospace, jewellery, mining, industrial machinery, electrical equipment and railway sectors, both in India and exported abroad. The company operates a single manufacturing facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra, and is a subsidiary of UK-based Morgan Advanced Materials PLC. It is also piloting a new product line of ceramic saggars used in lithium-ion battery material processing.
