ARCL Organics is a Kolkata-based specialty chemicals manufacturer whose core business is formaldehyde-based resins, hardeners and adhesives used by the plywood and wood-panel industry, including products developed for structural Mass Timber (Glulam, CLT, LVL). It imports methanol through Calcutta Port as a key raw material for its Formaldehyde Plant, and also runs an R&D programme producing dairy and aqua industry nutrition additives such as milk protein and fat boosters. The company is diversifying beyond plywood chemicals into automotive components, abrasives, refractories, foundry chemicals, agrochemicals and construction solutions, and operates through seven wholly-owned subsidiaries.
