National Peroxide Limited (NPL) manufactures peroxygen chemicals, primarily hydrogen peroxide, used as a bleaching and oxidising agent in pulp and paper, textiles, water treatment, electronics and food-processing industries. It also produces compressed hydrogen gas and peracetic acid, a disinfectant used in food processing, healthcare and wastewater treatment. Manufacturing is concentrated at a single fully integrated facility in Kalyan, Maharashtra, and the company exports hydrogen peroxide to over 30 countries. NPL is part of the Wadia Group and was formerly known as NPL Chemicals Limited.
