What went well

  • Brand business continued to perform well, growing 15% in FY25 and targeting 20% growth in FY26.
  • Achieved 25% volume growth in active ingredients in FY25 despite flat top-line due to price erosion.

What to watch

  • FY25 top-line remained largely flat with marginal degrowth in sales compared to the previous financial year.
  • Profitability margins remained under pressure, with EBITDA losses observed and PAT level being negative in FY25.

What Aimco Pesticides Ltd. does

Aimco Pesticides manufactures technical-grade agrochemical actives (insecticides, herbicides and fungicides) at its sole plant in Lote Parshuram, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, using them captively to make its own formulations or selling them to third-party formulators in India and abroad. Its Branded Formulations business sells its own agrochemical brands (Anaconda, Pyriban, Bykill, Aimcopro, Profenotox) to Indian farmers through branch offices and a distributor network, while its B2B Formulations business supplies bulk and retail-packaged formulations to agrochemical distributors globally. A smaller Trading arm carries out limited, opportunistic trading within its existing product categories.
