Axita Cotton Limited manufactures and exports cotton bales and cotton yarn from its ginning-and-pressing plant at Kadi in Mahesana district, Gujarat, close to the cotton-growing belt of Saurashtra. Alongside its own manufacturing, the company trades in kapas (raw seed cotton), cotton bales, cotton seeds and cotton yarn, and performs ginning-and-pressing job work for third parties. It supplies certified varieties such as Shankar-6 and MCU-5/MECH to buyers across nine export countries and ten Indian states, and in FY25 began diversifying its export book into sesame seeds and groundnut oil.
