Bannari Amman Spinning Mills manufactures cotton yarn at its Spinning Units and sells surplus waste cotton generated in the process. Its Weaving Unit produces wider-width cotton grey woven fabric, while separate Home Textile, Knitting and Processing units turn out made-up home textile products, knitted fabric and job-work processed fabric respectively. The company also operates 27 windmills whose output is captively consumed to power the Spinning and Weaving units. It previously operated a Garment unit and a subsidiary (Young Brand Apparel Pvt Ltd), both of which were sold/discontinued during FY25.
