Caprihans India manufactures PVC and PVDC-coated films and multi-layer laminates used as blister packaging for solid oral dosage pharmaceutical products, supplying domestic and global pharmaceutical companies and packaging converters. Pharma packaging solutions manufacturing and sale is the company's sole reportable business segment. Its DSIR-recognised in-house R&D units develop halogen-free blister films and recyclable mono-material laminates, and it operates a wholly-owned German subsidiary, Bilcare Research GmbH (Frankfurt), to grow its customer base in Europe and North America.
