What Deepak Nitrite Limited does

Deepak Nitrite Limited manufactures basic and fine organic and inorganic chemical intermediates used as raw materials by the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, dyes and pigments, paints, and laminate industries. It operates through two reportable segments — Advanced Intermediates (nitro toluenes, nitro chlorobenzenes, xylidines, oximes, fuel additives and speciality agrochemical intermediates) and Phenolics (Phenol, Acetone and Isopropyl Alcohol via a cumene-based process, plus downstream MIBK/MIBC and polycarbonate integration underway). It earns by selling these intermediates to domestic and export customers who use them as inputs into their own downstream chemical, pharma and agro products, and operates through several wholly/majority-owned subsidiaries including Deepak Phenolics, Deepak Chem Tech, Deepak Advanced Materials, Deepak PMC and Deepak Oman Industries.
