What Atul Limited does

Atul is an integrated chemical manufacturer operating across two reported segments, Life Science Chemicals and Performance and Other Chemicals, covering sub-segments such as aromatics, bulk chemicals and intermediates, colors (dyes and pigments), crop protection (bulk actives and branded retail formulations), pharmaceuticals and polymers. It runs eight production sites, including its original complex at Atul, Valsad, and serves around 32 industries, from agriculture and textiles to pharmaceuticals and personal care, through roughly 4,000 customers spread across 88 countries. It earns by manufacturing and selling bulk chemical intermediates, specialty chemicals, agrochemical actives and formulations, dyes, pigments and APIs, mostly to other industrial and agricultural manufacturers. It also holds stakes in chemical subsidiaries and joint ventures such as Atul Bioscience, Amal, Anaven (with Nouryon) and Rudolf Atul Chemicals (with Rudolf GmbH) that extend its product range into related chemistries.
