What Tata Chemicals Limited does
Tata Chemicals manufactures basic chemistry products (soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, salt and other inorganic products such as bromine, caustic soda and cement) that feed into glass, detergent, food, pharma and EV supply chains. Through its 55.04%-held subsidiary Rallis India, it also makes crop protection products, seeds and agri-solutions distributed to Indian farmers, and separately runs a specialty products business in agrochemicals/seeds, specialty silica for tyres, and prebiotic (FOS) nutrition ingredients. It operates manufacturing plants across India, the US, UK, Kenya and Singapore, selling soda ash, bicarb and salt volumes into markets across Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa.
