What Divi's Laboratories Limited does
Divi's Laboratories is an API-exclusive manufacturer that makes generic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, provides custom synthesis (contract manufacturing) of APIs and intermediates for global pharmaceutical innovators, and produces nutraceutical ingredients such as carotenoids. It does not market its own dosage forms or compete with its pharma customers, instead acting as a backward-integrated supplier that manufactures most key starting materials in-house to control quality and supply continuity. The company is expanding into newer areas such as peptide APIs (for GLP-1/GLP-2 therapies) and contrast media compounds alongside its core generics and custom synthesis business.
