What Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited does

Dhunseri Tea & Industries cultivates and manufactures tea across eleven estates and factories in Assam, selling through auction centres at Kolkata and Guwahati as well as bulk/private sales. Through wholly-owned overseas subsidiaries in Malawi (Kawalazi, Makandi, A.M. Henderson, Chiwale, Ntimabi) and a Singapore holding entity (Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea Pte Ltd), the group also grows tea, coffee and macadamia, with an offshore expansion programme aimed at scaling macadamia output. The tea business is labour-intensive, employing a large workforce across its plantations.
