Elgi Rubber Company Limited is a Coimbatore-headquartered rubber products manufacturer with plants at Annur, Kuruchi and Kovilpalayam (Coimbatore) and Sriperumbudur (Kancheepuram) in Tamil Nadu, and at Kanjikode and Kottayi (Palakkad) in Kerala. It also operates through wholly-owned subsidiaries with manufacturing operations in Colombo (Sri Lanka), Lorena (Brazil), Luling, Texas and Stoughton, Wisconsin (USA), and Maastricht (Netherlands). The company previously ran an Aircraft Tyre Retreading business division, which it divested during FY2024-25 as part of a strategic restructuring. The business is export-oriented, with its US, Brazil and Sri Lanka subsidiaries performing well while the Netherlands subsidiary has faced weaker demand in Western Europe.
