What Genus Paper & Boards Limited does
Genus Paper & Boards manufactures Kraft Paper — industrial packaging paper used by corrugated-box makers to produce corrugated boxes, liners, sacks and composite containers — along with Duplex Board and other specialty papers, largely for FMCG, consumer-durable, pharmaceutical, textile and e-commerce customers. Kraft paper is made mostly from recycled waste paper (both domestic and imported) through chemical/mechanical pulping, bleaching and paper-making on an imported Triple Wire machine, at a Zero Liquid Discharge facility with its own effluent-treatment plant. The company also produces Mild Steel Ingot as a by-product, using surplus power generated by its captive cogeneration plant.
