Orient Paper & Industries Limited, part of the CKA Birla Group, manufactures paper products across three verticals: wellness & hygiene tissue paper (Orient Tissue Paper, Orient Natura, Orient Bamboo Natura), writing and printing paper (Orient Platinum, Orient Peacock), and industrial chemical solutions (caustic soda lye, caustic soda flakes, chlorine, hydrochloric acid, bleaching powder, sodium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite) used in manufacturing, sanitation and water-treatment applications. Its integrated pulp-and-paper manufacturing plant is located at Amlai, District Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, supported by a company-owned captive 55 MW electricity generating plant at the same site. The company also runs a local agroforestry/plantation programme to secure pulpwood fibre supply and exports its paper products to a number of countries including the USA, UAE, Nepal, Oman, Qatar and several African and South Asian markets.
