What Gloster Ltd does
Gloster Limited manufactures jute and allied natural-fibre products at its integrated mills on a 175-acre campus at Bauria, Howrah, West Bengal, including hessian, sacking and double-warp cloth/bags, tarpaulin and canvas cloth, yarn, geo-textiles, agro-textiles, and specialty/lifestyle jute goods. It sells to domestic customers, including the Indian government and downstream brand companies, as well as export markets across the USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand and Spain. Wholly-owned subsidiary Gloster Nuvo Limited has set up a further integrated jute mill at the same Bauria site (commercial production since 30th March 2024) to add diversified jute-product capacity alongside the parent's own production.
