What GE Power does
GE Power India Limited designs, manufactures and services power generation equipment, with Steam Power — spanning boilers, boiler auxiliaries, coal mills, air quality control systems (FGD) and automation & control solutions — forming the majority of its business, alongside Hydro and Gas Power project execution. It runs a manufacturing facility at Durgapur, West Bengal and an engineering/execution unit at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, backed by sales offices and workshops across India. The company also delivers EPC, engineering and O&M services for gas and hydro power projects in India and the South Asia region, and exports spares and equipment to plants in Turkey, Australia, the UAE, Malaysia, the USA and Europe. It is part of the global GE Vernova group, with GE Steam Power International B.V. as its promoter.
