What Ginni Filaments Limited does

Ginni Filaments Limited is an integrated textile company that historically produced yarn, fabrics, garments and technical textiles. In FY24 it slump-sold its loss-making Spinning, Knitting and Processing undertaking to RSWM Limited, refocusing the company on its Non-Woven & Consumer Product Division and its Garment Division. The Non-Woven/Consumer Product Division makes spunlace non-woven fabric used in hygiene products such as baby wipes and disposable wipes, and in healthcare items like surgical drapes, gowns and wound-dressing pads; the Garment Division manufactures garments for export markets, competing against China, Bangladesh and Vietnam.
