What Halder Venture Limited does
Halder Venture Limited mills, processes and packages rice and refines edible oils (rice bran, soybean, sunflower, mustard, palmolein) at its plants in West Bengal. It sells branded parboiled and white rice (Bhojmoti, Diva, Uma, Moti brands) and branded edible oils (Odaana, Omaana) through a dealer and distribution network across Eastern and North-Eastern India, and exports rice and oil to Africa, Asia and Europe. The company also runs an in-house solvent extraction and oil refining operation, and is commissioning a new edible-oil unit at Haldia that will receive crude oils via a port pipeline.
