Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Limited manufactures polyester products - Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF), Partially Oriented Yarn (POY), Draw Texturised Yarn (DTY), Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY), Polyester Chips and Bottle Grade PET Resin - at an integrated facility in Butibori near Nagpur, Maharashtra, built with technology from Japanese, German and US partners. It sources purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and monoethylene glycol (MEG), both petrochemical derivatives, as primary raw materials and sells output for use in apparel and sportswear, home furnishing and textiles, hygiene and non-woven applications, automotive components, and bottles for water and beverages. The company also operates a captive power generation unit that supports its manufacturing operations. It is part of the globally present Indo Rama Group.
