What Manali Petrochemicals Limited does
Manali Petrochemicals is the sole domestic producer of Propylene Glycol (PG) and the first and largest Indian manufacturer of Propylene Oxide (PO), which it uses to make Polyols, PGMME and other petrochemical derivatives sold to pharmaceutical, food, personal-care, paints, automotive and construction customers. It manufactures at two plants in Manali, Chennai and is building a new facility in Gujarat to expand capacity. Through wholly owned UK step-down subsidiaries Notedome (polyurethane cast elastomers) and PennWhite (foam control agents and chemical additives under the FoamDoctor® brand), it also makes and exports specialty performance chemicals internationally.
