Munjal Auto Industries manufactures components for automotive OEM customers out of five manufacturing units — at Waghodia and Sanand in Gujarat, Bawal and Dharuhera in Haryana, and Haridwar in Uttarakhand. The company has been diversifying its customer base beyond its primary OEM buyer, including scaling up its business with Tata Motors, and is also developing products for the railways and defence sectors. Its subsidiary, Indutch Composites Technology Private Limited, makes composite components for wind-turbine makers such as Enercon, Vestas, Suzlon and GE, and also supplies L&T, Godrej and Tata group companies for defence, aerospace and allied applications.
