NBCC (India) Limited is a Government of India Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, established in 1960. It operates an asset-light, three-segment model: Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for government infrastructure such as hospitals, institutional buildings and border fencing; Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC); and Real Estate Development, where it redevelops government colonies and land parcels (e.g. GPRA colonies in Delhi) by self-financing construction through commercial sale/lease of part of the built-up area. It also undertakes overseas construction and PMC assignments and has entered international real estate through wholly-owned subsidiaries.
