What Next Mediaworks Limited does

Next MediaWorks Limited (NMW) is part of the HT Media Group, having become a group subsidiary following HT Media's 2019 acquisition. Through most of FY2024-25 it was the holding company of Next Radio Limited (NRL), which operated the 'Radio One' private FM radio network — India's only dedicated international-music FM station, offering international hits, contemporary chartbusters and retro formats. In February 2025, HT Media's conversion of a shareholder loan into NRL equity diluted NMW's stake in NRL from 51.40% to 13.53%, so NRL ceased to be NMW's subsidiary; as of 31 March 2025, NMW has no subsidiary, associate or joint venture.
