Onyx Biotec Limited manufactures Sterile Water for Injections (SWFI) ampoules using Form-Fill-Seal (FFS) technology at its Unit-I plant in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh, supplying pharmaceutical companies such as Aristo, Mankind, Dr Reddy's, Sun Pharma and Macleods. In 2023 the company commissioned a second facility (Unit-II) with the latest 21 CFR-compliant machinery to manufacture Dry Powder Injections and Dry Powder Syrup in the Cephalosporin range, which received WHO-GMP certification from the CDSCO in May 2024.
