What Precision Wires India Limited does
Precision Wires India Limited manufactures enamelled/insulated copper winding wires, marketed under the MILAN brand, used as an input for electric motors, transformers and other electrical equipment. Production is carried out at works in Silvassa (Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli) and at Palej, Gujarat, where copper wire rods and cathodes procured from domestic producers and imports are converted into finished winding wire. The company sells to both domestic customers and export markets, and is separately building a copper-waste recycling and refining unit at Zaroli, Gujarat to produce copper cathodes for captive use as raw material.
