What The Ramco Cements Limited does
The Ramco Cements Limited manufactures ordinary Portland and blended cement across integrated plants and grinding units in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha and West Bengal, selling under the Ramco brand through a network of dealers and sub-dealers to housing, commercial and infrastructure customers. It runs a construction-chemicals division making adhesives, plasters, putty and grouts under the Ramco and Hard Worker brands, produced at its own construction-chemical plants. The company backs its cement plants with captive wind, waste-heat-recovery (WHRS) and thermal power capacity to supply a large share of its own energy needs.
