What Goodricke Group does
Goodricke Group cultivates, manufactures and sells tea from its own tea gardens/estates across Assam, Dooars, Darjeeling and Cachar in North-East and East India, operating as a single tea business segment. The business spans bulk (plantation) tea sold domestically and for export, a branded/consumer packaged-tea division, and an Instant Tea plant at its Aibheel Tea Estate whose output is largely exported. The company is also piloting diversification on its garden land into alternative crops (garlic, turmeric, ginger, mushrooms), dairy and hospitality/tourism on some Darjeeling estates.
