What Galaxy Cloud does
Galaxy Cloud Kitchens Limited formerly ran a B2B cloud-kitchen operation manufacturing fresh foods — bakery products, desserts, hot and cold meals, home-meal convenience foods and ready-to-eat items — supplying private-label goods to retail chains and QSR companies across India from commissaries in Mumbai (Andheri), Gurugram and Bengaluru. Facing sustained losses, the Company wound the division down commissary by commissary, fully exiting the Cloud Kitchen business by 30 September 2024. In April 2024 it piloted a retail supermarket store under the brand 'Galaxy Supermarket' and has since scaled to 12 stores in tier-II cities plus one distribution centre in Haryana, sourcing FMCG and general household goods from group companies affiliated with Future Group.
