What Mac Charles(I) does

Mac Charles (India) Limited generates renewable ('green') power and sells the units to Karnataka utilities GESCOM and HESCOM as well as to Vikas Telecom Pvt. Ltd., and separately earns rental income from its properties. Following an amendment to its Memorandum of Association, the company has diversified into real estate and property development, and is currently constructing a Grade-A commercial office building in Bengaluru's Central Business District on the site of its erstwhile Le Meridien hotel. It carries out real estate activities through four wholly owned subsidiaries and is itself a subsidiary of Embassy Property Developments Private Limited.
